A. Simply search for the direct ip address, if the server is not in our database we will check to see if it is currently running and add it to our list. You may need to refresh once after a few seconds to give us time to check and add the server. Q. My server was down and is now back up?
A. No problem, we will know about it soon and start monitoring it again. If you go down, you might want to search for the ip address again to alert the monitor. Q. We are playing right now, will it show up?
A. Yes, it should appear wihin a minute of starting the game. If you refresh the page, it should be no more than a few seconds out of date. Q. How does a hosting company get listed here?

A. One way to narrow a search is to use a '%' character as a wild card, e.ge. 'F%K~' brings up the FOOK clan members. Q. I can't find my name?
A. Either you haven't recently played on a server that we are tracking, or maybe you have extended characters in your name that is difficult to search. Q. How do I record matches?
A. Play a scrimmage between your clan and another clan, then find the game you your game history and record it.Q. How come there is no game history for this player?
A. We delete all game history older than some number of days. Currently we are keeping 9 days so that we always cover two weekends of data.Q. What is player adoption?
A. This is a method we use to allow a registered user to be associated with a player profile in our database.Q. Why do I need to register in the forums first?
A. We use the forum account as your primary account on Halo Stats. If your clan leader already added you to the clan with a valid e-mail address, you should have received a registration e-mail for your account and you do not need to register again. Q. What are the restrictions on adoption?
A. Only players who have not been assigned to a clan are available for adoption. You may need to contact one of your clan leaders to remove your player from the clan roster so that you can adopt them. Q. Why can't I adopt my clan player?

A. The full name of your clan.Q. What do I put into the Clan Prefix?
A. This is the common part of your clan tag that every clan member uses including the separator character. For example if your player name was ABC-New001, the clan prefix would be ABC-. Q. I get an error that my clan name does not contain a valid separator character?
A. We make sure that your clan tag includes one of the common characters that separates your clan tag from the rest of your name. Q. What is the weapons field for?
A. The weapons type league that your clan primarily competes in. Clans can participate in other weapons types, and can update their primary weapon type at any time. Q. Who can disolve a clan?
A. When you disolve a clan, you are removed from leader and all the members are removed from the clan. Player history is saved, so a clan can be recreated in a manner of minutes.Q. Why can't I add a clan after I disolve it?
A. The clan record is not actually removed until there is no clan match inactivity in our database. Q. What happens when I put in a new e-mail address?
A. If the player is already adopted, it will update their forum profile. If the email already exists in the forum users it will connect that user and player. If neither of the above are found a new fourum profile will be created and an e-mail will be sent.Q. What does the Pass field do?
A. This can be used to create a new password and send account information to the user. It is only available for users that are registered. Q. What happens to this information?
A. This is only accessible to the administrative users of this clan. It is not released to any other site users. Q. How do I make contact information available?

A. No, these are recommended game types only. They are provided so that if playing a match, you can go into a game with an expectation of the config. Q. Can I modify these types?
A. Sure, but change the name to not include hs1, we want people to know what to expect on the hs1 game types. Q. Why is this called variants?
A. Because that is what it is how it is returned from the server. It is also known as game types even though game types are typicall CTF, Slayer, etc. Q. What is flags over the other team?
A. The number of flags that your team leads by e.g. if the final score is 2 to 1, you have 1 flag over the other team, and they have 0 flags.Q. Why use the size of the opposing team?
A. Two reasons, 1) flags in an 8 player match is progressively harder than a 1 player match and 2) if playing a more experienced clan, they may allow you to have more players. Q. What matches can I record?
A. Any game that has players from at most 2 clans, has no non-clan players, and you were one of the players.Q. Who can report a match?
A. Any player who was in the game, from either the winning or losing team. Q. What happens when a match gets recorded?
A. Right now not much, but soon, all players who participated will receive an e-mail confirmation. Q. I see a match recorded that is wrong?
A. You can click on the dispute button to file a match dispute. Q. I had a link to report, but now I can't?
A. The match page does a second set of checks to make sure you can report this match. The other possibility is that someone else reported it ahead of you. Q. These points don't look right?

A. Depending on the severity, 2 or more council members will have to assess the level and severity of the dispute and then a average penalty is assessed. Q. I don't agree with this dispute.
